We created a targeted programmatic radio campaign for our client Apollo Optik – whenever they needed to increase current foot traffic in their stores. We used programmatic advertising to run a campaign with traditional radio adverts managed in real time.
This was a first in Germany. A pre-calculated visitor threshold value for individual stores was used as orientation. When this wasn’t reached by a specified time, 12-second Apollo Optik radio ads were automatically played the same afternoons on the local radio station closest to each store.

Our aspirations: real-time, localised, individual and flexible. With the programmatic radio campaign, we were able to efficiently increase foot traffic in stores in specific areas in real-time and in a precisely targeted manner.
