Munich, 4 June 2019 — At the Festival of Media Global Awards 2019 in Rome, the Mediaplus Group was honoured with the Grand Prix for Independent Agency of the Year. This builds on the success of the previous two years, when Mediaplus also received the Recma-relevant award. In addition to this special award, Mediaplus and the Serviceplan Group were also able to take home the golden trophy for the "Best Use of Traditional or Ambient Media" regarding the Fonts for Freedom campaign.
For the festival, an experienced panel of judges consisting of many international media experts, digital innovators and brand creatives evaluates the most innovative media and communication ideas from all around the world.

Back in March, the Mediaplus Group was the first German media agency to win the innovation award of BVM. In the same month, the Group was with the best performers at the German Media Awards. In February, Mediaplus was top-rated in the list of German media agencies drawn up by Recma, the independent French market research institute.
