Munich, 6th October 2020 — Two Grand Prix and nine trophies were awarded to the Mediaplus Group at the virtual Festival of Media Global Awards 2020, bringing the total of prizes won to eleven. For the fourth time Mediaplus Group was named "Agency of the Year", and on top of this won the Grand Prix for "Campaign of the Year": the "Mind the Gap" campaign for Berlin's public transport agency BVG.
The virtually organized award show was a complete success for the owner-managed media agency. Precious metals were given for the campaigns "Lifeboat - The Experiment" for Sea Watch (1x Gold), "Mind the Gap" for Berlin's public transport company (4x Gold 1x Silver, 1x Bronze) and "Zoom-Level-Targeting" for Apollo (1x Gold, 1x Silver).
An expert jury consisting of international digital innovators, media specialists and brand creatives evaluated the most innovative media and communication ideas worldwide. Among the jury members this year was Jens Hofmann, General Manager at Mediaplus (who of course was not allowed to evaluate the in-house Mediaplus campaigns).
Jochen Lenhard, Managing Partner of the Mediaplus Group, congratulates all colleagues: "Our colleagues have really done an incredibly great job this year. Many thanks for this! Congratulations to all who were involved. I am very proud of our team and innovative spirit".
This latest awards success for Mediaplus Group comes hot on the heels of the "Media Agency of the Year" award in June granted by the jury and market decision-makers at the German Media Award of W&V.
