Arvid Boström appointed Managing Director of Mediaplus International

Mediaplus is making waves in international business with the appointment of a renowned personality, Arvid Boström, who moves from the role of Chief Transformation Officer at GroupM to the Mediaplus Group where he takes on the role of Managing Director on November 1st. 

Munich, 8th October 2020 — Arvid Boström moves  from GroupM, to another M-agency: Mediaplus.  On November 1, Arvid Boström will move to Mediaplus International as Managing Director. Together with Managing Director Matthias Brüll, the 42-year-old will be responsible for managing and further expanding cross-border mandates of the Mediaplus Group. The development of new business worldwide is on his agenda, as well as the networking of international locations and cross-border harmonization of the range of services.

Boström was most recently Chief Transformation Officer at GroupM, where he was responsible for the group's new business and in this position was able to acquire national and international clients such as Dr. Oetker, Xiaomi and Klarna. He also held various management positions for the Media Network and its subsidiary agencies: As Mediacom's Chief Operating Officer, he held the strategic leadership in the restructuring of the agency and new business activities until the end of 2018. As Chief Strategy Officer of GroupM he was previously responsible for the entire agenda setting and brand management of the agency within the group. Further stations were MEC and Mediacom, where Boström started a traineeship after his business studies.

For more than 14 years Boström has been active in the world of listed network agencies. The move to the owner-managed Mediaplus Group comes from the heart: "I am looking forward to helping shape entrepreneurial decisions.
